Through EIAC, we aim to showcase and highlight the true cultural diversity of the Irish Visual Arts scene especially those who are outside the accepted ”social norms” of thin, white, cis, straight, able-bodied and/or male. Our members are women, people of colour, disabled, queer, transgender, non-binary and so much more. We are forever proud to represent them through our community projects such as our Grá-phite Zine & Podcast and more in the near future.
EIAC stands firmly against the use of Generative AI and other similar technologies and will not knowingly endorse or promote the work of anyone who utilises these technologies at any stage of their work nor will they be welcome to join the community.Gen-AI actively harms real artists and undermines the substantial efforts of those who contribute to the cultural patchwork of the visual arts scene in ireland and worldwide.
We operate under a zero-tolerance policy and do not condone or tolerate any form of bigotry, especially racism, xenophobia, homophobia, sexism/misogyny, transphobia, ableism, sectarianism or bullying of any kind. We will never knowingly promote or work in association with any person, event or business who is known to have engaged in abusive behaviour. If you have any concerns about any of our members or any featured groups or businesses, please email us at [email protected] and a member of the team will be in touch.
For what seems like forever, the main focus of the Irish Art scene has been Dublin. Whilst our industry certainly thrives in the big smoke, the team at EIAC have made an active decision to spotlight and reach out to artists from all corners of the Island and from all communities. We have a cross-border and whole island attitude that we hope bridges the gap between artists in rural and urban Ireland including those North & South of the border.

Emerald Isle Artists Collective is an online community for Visual Artists on or from the island of Ireland!EIAC was established in 2025 as a way to shine a light on the hidden talents of Visual Artists all across the island - from Banba's Crown in County Donegal to Brow Head in County Cork and everywhere in between. Born from the foundations of a small discord community started 6 years ago, the team wanted to give a lick of paint and a new direction to the community. Our main goal is to support artists like ourselves who may be struggling to find community or get their name out there locally. There are so many artists who we believe have the potential to change the world, even if that's just within their own rural community. We want to bring those people to the forefront of the visual arts scene here in Ireland and, with the large Irish diaspora living abroad, potentially to a larger audience across the globe.
